Policies

University Theatre programs are subject to change. Performances do begin promptly. Latecomers will be seated only at a suitable break, which, in some cases, may not be until intermission.

No refunds are given, but exchanges can be made up to twenty-four hours prior to the ticketed performance date when tickets are available. Patrons who cannot use their tickets are asked to contact the Vilas Hall Box Office twenty-four hours before the time of the performance. Postdated tickets have no value and cannot be exchanged. Unused tickets can be donated to the theatre for resale, the proceeds of which will go toward improving the theatre.

Any person entering the theatre must have a ticket. Babes in arms will not be permitted. University Theatre and University Opera discourage patrons from bringing small children to the theatre except in those cases where the production is specifically intended for young audiences.

Please contact the Vilas Hall Box Office for information about wheelchair accessibility and hearing-assist systems.
